Delete your EasyDen account

Last updated: September 11, 2026

EasyDen includes account deletion inside the app. Deletion is different from leaving one household or signing out.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open EasyDen and select the House tab.
  2. Scroll to the Privacy and account section.
  3. Select Delete account.
  4. Read the deletion explanation and confirm Delete account.

Property managers can use Account → Delete account in the property-manager workspace. This deletes the same EasyDen account, including any roommate and manager roles, not just one workspace.

The app shows a success message or returns to onboarding after the deletion request completes. If an error appears, the account has not been confirmed as deleted; do not assume it was removed.

What the implemented deletion process does

  • Removes the account’s linked receipt and payment-proof uploads, maintenance photos it uploaded, and photos attached to maintenance reports it created, before deleting the sign-in identity.
  • Removes registered push tokens, notification preferences, and personal suggestion state.
  • Removes household memberships and invitations created by the account, and removes the Supabase authentication identity. An owned household passes to another connected member if possible; otherwise it and its related records are deleted.
  • Deletes personal household content, including maintenance reports created by the account. Shared chore definitions can be reassigned to the remaining household owner.
  • Retains shared expense ledger and bilateral settlement records needed by remaining members under “Former roommate,” so balances are not silently rewritten. Other shared records may remain as described below.
  • Replaces the deleted authentication identifier in that retained ledger with a new random record identifier and does not retain an application-level map back to the deleted identity.

Expense descriptions tied to the deleted payer are replaced with neutral wording and settlement dispute notes involving the account are cleared. Property-manager relationships, manager activation records and invitations created by the account are removed. Creator/acceptor links on retained property and invitation records are cleared. On other users’ maintenance reports, the deleted actor’s identifier and update notes are cleared while status/severity history may remain. Other managers and households keep their separate authorized access where the property/household still exists.

The app clears that account’s local cache and session after the server confirms deletion. Replacing identifiers does not erase other people’s memories or copies, and retained shared context may still be recognizable. No fixed retention period is published for retained shared records. Provider backups, operational logs and previously received copies are not promised to disappear immediately.

Deletion has several steps. A failure can occur after some attachments have been removed; an error does not establish either complete deletion or that nothing changed. Retry in the app or contact support if deletion cannot complete.

If you cannot access the app

Request deletion by email.

If you cannot access EasyDen, email taranshg.dev@gmail.com and clearly state that you want your EasyDen account deleted.

A request made outside the app will need enough verified account information to establish that the requester controls the account. Do not send passwords, authentication tokens, payment screenshots, private maintenance photos, or other roommates’ data. This static page does not submit or store requests.

Anonymous guest accounts may not have a verified email identity. If you still have app access, use the in-app deletion control. If you want the account to remain recoverable, protect it with email before signing out.

Email an account-deletion request

Leaving a household instead

If you only want to leave the current household, use House → Leave household. This ends your household access without deleting the entire EasyDen account. If you are its owner, ownership passes to another connected member where possible; otherwise the household is deleted. Leaving a household does not remove a separately authorized property-manager role.
